Hypnotherapy
The Conscious and Subconscious mind: The Subconscious mind is much like a computer. Besides automatically running all of our bodily functions in the background, it stores all information, thoughts, feelings and emotions acquired during our entire lifetime (and some believe in past lifetimes). It does not have the ability to discriminate or analyze, so it keeps both the positive and negative experiences and information "on file". Most often when an issue "pops up" in our life, or eliminating a negative behavior proves difficult, it is our subconscious mind holding on to the data. The easiest way to make positive changes in our lives is to change, delete or reframe the program that the subconscious mind is running.
IN COMES HYPNOSIS: While the conscious mind is quieted during Hypnosis it is still aware of everything that is happening, and will not allow anything to occur that is against your moral or ethical values. The state of Hypnosis feels much like daydreaming, you are lost in thought and may lose sense of time, but if anything calls your attention you are instantly alert and aware.
